You might have seen the foldable, portable, and cool mouse from Microsoft which is named Arc, but I have nearly missed this one until recently when I read about it on Microsoft’s website.

Microsoft Arc

The Arc Mouse looks to be a very slick input device.

Unique design.

Foldable mouse
When the mouse is folded, small and portable.

Wireless and collapsible, it claims to combine both portability and style for those of you on the “fashion edge”. However, I think the folding Arc is only minimally useful for saving space in a laptop bag. But, when you want to use it, it’s not too small to use in a mobile environment when you are on the move.

USB micro transceiver
USB micro transceiver tucked under the mouse.

The main specifications at a glance:

  • The 2.4 GHz wireless USB micro-transceiver has up to a 30 foot wireless range
  • Uses laser technology which is more precise, more responsive, and deliver smoother tracking
  • Mouse folds to 60% of its fully expanded size
  • Mouse fully expanded dimension: 58.8 x 112.78 mm
  • Long battery life of more than 6 months
  • The Battery Status LED Indicator glows red when the battery is running low
  • Micro-Transceiver snaps into the bottom of the mouse
  • 3 years limited hardware warranty
